Once it has been placed on site and connected to the power and water supplies, the TRANSMIX is ready for immediate operation.

For separate batching of the individual aggregates the bulkhead has four compartments standard which are designed so as to provide an optimum active storage capacity. The box walls are fitted on site according to the erection drawing. The bulkhead gates are activated pneumatically and thus allow exact batching. The sand box is fitted with an electric vibrator. The aggregates are drawn into their inividual boxes by means of a radial boom drogline.The feeding skip also serves as a weighing hopper. A geared electric motor (hoist motor) serves as the drive unit. The skip is moved on ball-bearing rollers by means of a cable. The charging and discharging positions are set by limit switches. For reasons of safety, a slackline limit switch is fitted.

Due to their favourable weight and size, TRANSMIX plants can be transported on an ordinary lorry, and shifted with simple hoisting or lifting appliances. When converting or modernising concrete works, such a compact plant can quickly be set up. No pit is required for the feed skip. Installation costs can be kept low.

Cement batching can be carried out via a screw conveyour from silos or from a bag splitter.
After pre-setting the required value on the dial of the water meter, water batching is carried out fully automatically. The electric water meter has a counter with automatic pointer return.
It is possible to install a water weigh batcher or water batching computer instead of the water meter.
The heart of the TRANSMIX plants are the TEKA High Speed Pan Mixers ( THZ Series), which have proved their reliability all over the world. They have a powerful drive and a hydraulically operated discharge with emergency opening device.

The mixer cover is nearly dust-proof and can be half opened to enable trouble free cleaning and maintenance. The adjusting elements are likewise covered by a hood as protection against dirt.

On request it is possible to equip our Transmix plants with Twin-Shaft-Mixers.

The comuterized eletric controls are equipped with 99 programs for fully-automatic operation. Up to TRANSMIX 1125 in board-type execution, from TRANSMIX 1500 an langer, desk-type execution.

The mimic display situated on the operating side shows the various functions by control lights.
All mixing functions can easily be initiated from the operating stand. The weigh batchers, the water meter dial and the control cabinet are conveniently placed for easy operation and good visibility.

The access to the mixer platform is designed up to TRANSMIX 1125 by climbing ladder with back-protection and beginning from TRANSMIX 1500 with stair including handrail.
